You are subscribing to Kixi for transactional SMS (phone verification, optional two-factor authentication, and date invitations). Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. View our Terms of Service. View our Privacy Policy.

Program: transactional (not marketing). Frequency: message frequency may vary. Rates: standard message and data rates may apply.
Opt out: reply STOP to stop messaging, or email info@kiximatch.com.
Help: reply HELP or contact info@kiximatch.com. After STOP, reply START or YES to resume.

Consent language shown at opt-in

In the Kixi app and on the website, this language appears next to the phone field before the first SMS. Neither checkbox is pre-checked. SMS consent and Privacy Policy acceptance are separate.

1. Phone verification (sign-in & account setup)

In the Kixi mobile app, users enter their phone number, check the SMS consent box and the Privacy Policy box (neither is pre-selected), and tap Send code to receive a one-time SMS verification code. Checking the boxes and requesting the code is an affirmative opt-in to that verification message.

2. Optional SMS two-factor authentication

Signed-in users may optionally enable SMS two-factor authentication in Account settings. They enter a phone number, check the same SMS and Privacy Policy boxes (unchecked by default), and tap to send a verification code—another affirmative opt-in to receive that SMS. At sign-in, users with 2FA enabled receive a separate code to finish logging in.

3. Date invitation SMS

When a matchmaker creates a date in Kixi and a participant is not yet on the app, they may invite that person by phone number (Friend not found). Submitting the invite sends a one-time transactional SMS with a link to view and accept or decline the date. Matchmakers represent they have permission to contact that number. Recipients can reply STOP to stop messaging at any time.
